In the Sverdlovsk region on February 25, heat will continue to flow, accompanied by gusty winds. Forecaster Alexey Pulin reported this.

“The territory of the Sverdlovsk region will continue to receive a warmer air mass, spreading along the periphery of the anticyclone from the west. Heat advection according to the already familiar pattern is accompanied by increased wind: the air flow moving along the periphery of the anticyclone will lead to strong and gusty winds,” Pulin wrote in the “Weather in Yekaterinburg” telegram channel.

He clarified that the strongest winds should be expected in the west of the region. In the north of the region, thaws will begin during the daytime. In Yekaterinburg on February 25 there will be partly cloudy skies and wind gusts of up to 13 meters per second. The air temperature will rise to -1 or -3 degrees.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations warned Sverdlovsk residents regarding strong wind in the region on the last winter Sunday, February 25. Rescuers urged residents to be vigilant and not to stay near poorly secured structures.
