Federal MP Ecolo-Groen Séverine de Laveleye and climate alderman Alain Mugabo will form the duo that will lead the Ecolo-Groen list in the October 2024 municipal elections in Forest, the local section of Ecolo-Groen announced on Tuesday, by way of press release.
The current mayor, Mariam El Hamidine, wanted to hand over and support the collective project by pushing the list, following two terms in the college – one as alderman, and one as mayor.
Séverine de Laveleye, currently also a municipal councillor, and Alain Mugabo will respectively occupy first and second place on the list of the Greens.
