Former Youth Pastor Arrested On Sex Offense Charges In Maryland


Baltimore County, Md. – A Former Youth Pastor, Thomas Pinkerton, Faces Multiple Sex Offense Charges. The Allegations Involve Incidents That reportedly Occurred At A Church and His Residence, According Too Police.

Detectives From The Baltimore County Police Department’s Crimes Against Children Unit Apprehended 52-Year-Old Pinkerton. The Arrest Follows An Investigation Into Alleged Abuse That Took place Between 2006 And 2010.

The Alleged Abuse Occurred While Pinkerton Was Employed at Central Christian Church, Located On The 7400 Block Of Rossville Boulevard. Police believe the Abuse Happened Both At The Church Facility And At Pinkerton’s Home Within baltimore County.

Pinkerton, Currently A Resident Of Georgia, Was Extradited To Maryland On Wednesday.He Is Currently Being Held At The Baltimore County Detention Center Without Bail.

Investigators Suspect There May Be Additional Victims Who Have Not Yet Reported Abuse. Authorities Are Actively Seeking information From Anyone Who May Have Knowledge Of These Events.
