Sergio Busquets, the former Barcelona star, was subjected to an embarrassing situation by the American League accounts, following he officially moved to Inter Miami.
Busquets joined the Argentine star, Lionel Messi, at their official presentation conference to the fans and the media in Miami on Sunday evening, and the Spain star signed a contract until 2025.
The American League account on the social networking site “Twitter” welcomed the star Busquets by mistakenly publishing a photo of his former colleague in the Spanish national team, Alvaro Arbeloa.
The matter was noticed by fans on Twitter, and the error was quickly fixed by posting a new picture of Busquets, and commenting, “Why do Arbeloa and Busquets look so similar…the admin needs new glasses.”
Busquets commented, on his transfer to Inter Miami, saying: “This is a special and exciting opportunity that I am very excited to seize. I am looking forward to this next step in my career with Inter Miami. I was impressed by the club when I came with Barcelona last year and now I am happy and ready to represent the club myself.”
