Karachi: The former Chief Justice of Balochistan High Court was shot dead while coming out of the mosque following prayers. Muhammad Noor Maskanzai was killed. The incident took place in Kharan area on Friday. When he was returning from the mosque following Isha prayer, the unidentified assailants opened fire. DIG Nazir Ahmed Kurd said that he was rushed to the hospital but he died. Two more people were injured in the firing. They have been admitted to the hospital and their condition is serious.

Meanwhile, three people were killed when a remote-controlled bomb exploded in Mastung on Friday morning. Four people are injured. The attack targeted a tribal leader and a political leader, but both escaped.
