A short while ago, Dr. Ahmed Emad El-Din, former Minister of the Ministry of Health and Population, passed away in a Cairo hospital, as a result of a heart attack.

Imad El-Din was scheduled to undergo open-heart surgery, but he passed away before it was performed at the age of 68.

It is noteworthy that Dr. Ahmed Emad, born on June 8, 1955, was chosen to be Minister of the Ministry of Health in 2015, and before that he held the position of Operation of the Faculty of Medicine, Ain Shams University.
