“Former New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern to Join Harvard University as Global Public Leaders Fellow”

Cambridge:Former New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern will join Harvard University in the US in October this year. She will serve as this year’s Angelopoulos Global Public Leaders Fellow and Hauser Leader at Harvard Kennedy School’s Center for Public Leadership. Jacinda said she will return to New Zealand following her fellowship period.

Kennedy School Dean Douglas Elmendorf said Jacinda is a person who has shown the world what political leadership is both strong and compassionate. He said that they will be able to provide important perspectives to the children of the Kennedy School.

Jacinda, who became Prime Minister of New Zealand in 2017 at the age of 37, resigned in January this year following five years. He resigned saying that he might not do justice to his position.
