Formula 1 | Magnussen would drive well with an F1 at Laguna Seca or Road Atlanta

Kevin Magnussen wishes Formula 1 might go to some of the most fun tracks in the United States.

Magnussen made a surprise return to Formula 1 ahead of the start of the 2022 season. And in his 2021 season, the Dane was able to race in Endurance and IndyCar in the USA.

He was able to drive on a host of emblematic circuits such as Laguna Seca, Road Atlanta, Sebring, Watkins Glen or Long Beach.

Admitting that there is no way Formula 1 cars might be driven on such tracks in their current state, Magnussen would love to drive one if he had the chance.

“None of these tracks would be suitable, not even a bit. But it would be a lot of fun to drive a Formula 1 on these circuits which I have been able to discover during my season out of this sport,” he comments.

“In terms of racing I’m an extremist, I like it when things get hard and tough. Put me in a Formula 1 on any track and I’ll go for it. Obviously that’s not the opinion from the leaders of our sport and the FIA and that is understandable.”
