The watch brand Fossil recently released the Fossil Gen 6 Hybrid series of hybrid smart watches, adding an E-Ink e-ink screen to the traditional needle watch and providing the practical functions of a smart watch. The new Fossil Gen 6 Hybrid series is the first to add SpO2 blood oxygen concentration monitoring function, and built-in microphone peak to support Amazon Alexa voice assistant.
The Fossil Gen 6 Hybrid series has two models: Men’s Machine and Women’s Stella. They are the body design and size. The men’s watch body is 45mm in diameter and uses a 24mm strap, available in black, silver, and iron gray. The women’s is 40.5mm in diameter and comes with an 18mm strap, available in rose gold and silver. Both watches have 3 ATM, or 30 meters of water resistance.

In addition to normal smartwatch functions, such as alarms, music playback controls, message and incoming call alerts, the Fossil Gen 6 Hybrid series also has heart rate and blood oxygen level monitoring. Another selling point of the Fossil Gen 6 Hybrid series is the battery life of up to 14 days, the watch has built-in Bluetooth 5.0, and supports both iOS and Android systems. The Fossil Gen 6 Hybrid series is priced from $229 (regarding HK$1,797), and the metal strap starts at $249 (regarding HK$1,954).
