Four people were hospitalized after a tremendous frontal crash in Paraná – Police

Four people were injured as a result of a tremendous head-on collision between a red Renault Clio car and a Volkswagen Saveiro van; The impact occurred at 7:00 p.m. this Saturday on Selva de Montiel street at 1140, between Galán and 1º de Mayo, in the San Agustín de Paraná neighborhood.

Police sources confirmed to Elonce that the Clio was traveling along Montiel Avenue from Galán to 1º de Mayo and the Saveiro, which belongs to a glass shop, was traveling in the opposite direction; the vehicles collided head-on and were visibly mangled from the accident.

The four occupants of the vehicles (two in each vehicle) were taken to the San Martín hospital with serious injuries, he confirmed to Elonce the Chief of Operations of the Paraná Police Department, Esteban Riquelme. Among the injured was a minor.

The state of health of one of the young people who was traveling in the Clio was worrying given that he had been fired through the windshield and his body was left lying on the asphalt tape. At night he was immediately transferred to the operating room in order to try to stabilize him.

Personnel from the sixteenth police station, 911, Road Accidentology, Criminalistics worked at the scene of the accident and two ambulances were required.
