A fourteen-year-old girl died in a collision with a car in Epe, Gelderland, on the night of Saturday to Sunday. The driver of the car drove away.
The girl was hit by a car in Hoofdstraat while she was riding her bicycle. There is still no trace of the car and the driver, the police confirmed following reporting Omroep Gelderland.
Emergency services tried to save the girl, but in vain. The accident happened at a crossing where Hoofdstraat turns into Heerderweg.
