Today, April 24, the American broadcaster Fox News announced regarding ending his partnership with TV presenter Tucker Carlson. Mr. Carlson is a popular presenter and political commentator known for his conservative views and, among other things, for being an active critic of US President Joe Biden. Fox News said in a statement that the channel and Mr Carlson “have agreed to end their partnership.”
Fox News last week agreed to pay a record $787.5 million out of court settlement to voting machine maker Dominion Voting Systems. The company filed the lawsuit following it was repeatedly claimed on air that its voting machines were “twisted” so that Donald Trump would lose the 2020 presidential election. It is not known whether the termination of cooperation with Mr. Carlson is connected with this case.
