Vienna(OTS) –

In a shocking incident of violence in Vienna-Medlin last night, a young woman was brutally stabbed to death by her Afghan partner. This horrific incident once again highlights the urgent need to protect our cities from violent immigration and take decisive action against those who violate the law.

Dominik Knepp, chairman of the Vienna Freedom Party and city councilor, was deeply moved and indignant: “The death of a young woman in Vienna at the hands of an unscrupulous Afghan is unbearable. We demand the immediate deportation of all prisoners Afghans with criminal convictions. It’s time to significantly tighten our immigration policies.

Petra Steger, MEP and leader of the FPÖ district in Vienna-Medlin, was also shocked by today’s murder of a 29-year-old Afghan woman at knifepoint. “This is the next escalation in the ever-increasing violence. Following the stabbing at Medlinger train station and the ongoing attacks by terrorist gangs in Steinbauer Park, which has now even left one person dead.

We are still waiting in vain for the reaction of responsible politicians – including the City of Vienna, led by SPÖ Mayor Ludwig, and the black-green federal government, led by Interior Minister Khanna. “It is clear that people have long surrendered to excessive violence, especially in immigration settings. The latest developments, especially in France and the UK, show where we are headed if the violence is not finally stopped through massive police deployments and the harshest punishments .

Knapp and Steiger called for a swift and comprehensive investigation into the incident and tougher penalties for violent offenders. They also made it clear that tighter controls and zero immigration were needed to ensure the safety of the people of Vienna.
