ÖVP demolishes non-profit housing
Vienna (OTS) – “Today the benchmarks are exploding across Austria. The ÖVP with their ice-cold clientele policy and the Greens with their spineless attitude are responsible for this housing catastrophe,” commented FPÖ building spokesman NAbg. Mag. Philipp Schrangl the current development.
“An effective rent freeze would have been needed to protect hundreds of thousands of renters and curb inflation. But this federal government is in no way living up to its responsibility for the people,” criticized Schrangl.
“To make matters worse, at the same time the social or non-profit housing is being sold to investors at the social tariff. It shows: ÖVP Chancellor Nehammer makes housing policy for the super-rich and once morest the people,” said Schrangl.
