Before the 2023 World Cup in Australia and New Zealand (July 20-August 20), France women’s team coach Hervé Renard announced a pre-list of 26 players. Three of them will therefore be discarded before the start of the competition. And more precisely before the friendly match in Ireland on Thursday July 6th.
“It’s quite simple since when we go to play in Ireland, it’s a preparation match, you have the right to six changes and 23 players on the match sheet. Inevitably, even if they travel, if they are three in the stands, they will have understood, even if I will tell them before of course. This will be the end of this list of 23”, indicated the coach of the Blue.
