Orland Park, IL – Residents of the Southland will have the chance to find their furry new family members and support a worthy cause at the 7th Annual Pet Adoption Day.The event, a collaboration between local businesses and animal welfare organizations, aims to connect adorable pets with loving homes.
The event, hosted in and around the areas of Frankfort and Orland Park, promises a day filled with fun activities including giveaways and raffles, alongside flavorful food and refreshments. Attendees will have the prospect to meet adoptable dogs, cats, and other pets from several local organizations, and potentially change a life for the better.
“These events are crucial for finding good homes for animals in need,” says a representative from one of the participating organizations. “We’re thrilled to partner with other groups in the area to maximize our reach and make a positive impact.”
Beyond adoption opportunities, the event will serve as a donation drive to benefit participating organizations. Needed items include unopened bags or cans of dog or cat food, towels and blankets, pet toys and treats, collars, harnesses, and cleaning supplies such as hand soap, paper towels, disinfectant wipes, and large garbage bags. Amazon, Walmart, and Chewy gift cards are also greatly appreciated.Donations can be dropped off at the Frankfort or Orland Park offices through September 27th.
