A huge number of Argentina fans came to eat Biryani in Thrissur. Shibu, the owner of Rock Land Hotel in Pallimula, Thrissur, who is a die-hard Messi fan, did not have to think twice to announce that if Argentina wins, Biryani will be served to a thousand people.
The day following Messi and Argentina kissed the world cup, fans came in front of Rock Land to taste the biryani. Fans of Kozhikode Mithaitheru celebrated by distributing halwa. One hundred kilos of halwa were distributed by Shahul, an Argentina fan, and his friends.
