Municipalities have installed distributors on the beach, in parks, at festivals and at the sports club. Under these conditions, the Dutch do not have to be asked to protect themselves and the distributors seem to have a great success. “Hundreds of people use these dispensers. But many still enjoy the sun without protection,” regrette Jacco Knape, councilor municipal de Katwijk.
Sunscreen is a summer essential. And yet, we don’t always think of taking our bottle with us.
It also represents a substantial budget for families: “cis quite expensive, even if you often find them during the sales. It’s still expensive.” admits a Dutch mother living in the park.
In case of sun exposure, it is advisable to apply cream every two hours. Distributors will therefore be supplied until September.
