Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – The Saudi journalist, Ibrahim Al-Faryan, presented a gift to the French star of the Jeddah club, Karim Benzema, which is a copy of the Qur’an in French, following he gave a “Rolex” watch to the Brazilian player Fabinho two days ago.

Al-Faryan published a video clip on his page on the “X” platform, previously Twitter, in which he appeared as he presented a gift to Benzema while the second was leaving with the escort of the guard.

The Saudi journalist wrote on the video: “I gave him a copy of the Holy Qur’an translated into French.”

Al-Faryan sparked an interaction over the past two days following he presented Fabinho with a Rolex watch following Al-Ittihad’s match with Al-Raed at the start of the team’s career in the Roshen Professional League, which ended with the “Tigers” winning 3-0.

Benzema converts to the Islamic religion and had performed Umrah rituals in the city of Mecca following the end of the team’s participation in the King Salman Cup for Champions Clubs.
