Budapest – Hungarian President Katalin Novák on Thursday dismissed the commander-in-chief of the Hungarian army, Romulusz Ruszin-Szendi, with immediate effect. This emerges from the Hungarian Official Journal published on Thursday. No reasons were given for the dismissal, which came at the suggestion of Defense Minister Kristóf Szalay-Bobrovniczky.
