“The Ukrainian forces have suffered heavy losses in Donbass, and there is no point in the West continuing to provide them with money and equipment in light of these heavy losses,” Filipo added in an interview with the Russian news agency TASS.
The attack launched by Ukrainian forces on the Kursk region, according to him, is nothing but an expression of the state of despair that is sweeping the ranks of the Kiev regime.
He added: “It would be madness, even a crime, to try to convince the head of the Kiev regime, Volodymyr Zelensky, that his forces can defeat the Russian army.”
He stressed that Ukrainians are being pushed into a bloody conflict in which they are dying in vain, noting that sharpening the Kiev regime with money, weapons and false hopes of victory will not lead to any satisfactory results.
Russian forces continue to confront the Ukrainian army’s attack on Kursk territory on the morning of August 6, while the Russian National Anti-Terrorism Committee announced last Saturday the imposition of a regime of counter-terrorism operations in the Russian Kursk, Belgorod and Bryansk regions due to the increased level of terrorist threats from Ukraine.
A regime of anti-terrorist operations was imposed in Kursk, Belgorod and Bryansk oblasts, and a state of emergency of the federal level was imposed in Kursk oblast.
For its part, the Russian Foreign Ministry considered NATO countries’ supply of weapons to Ukraine as “playing with fire” and an incitement that fuels the crisis, undermines the chances of peace, and may lead to the outbreak of a nuclear war.
The Russian Defense Ministry also warned Western countries against supplying Ukraine with weapons, and vowed to crush them on Ukrainian territory.
Russia has confirmed, through many officials, that the West’s incitement of Ukraine, its supply of weapons and money, and its dissemination of misleading and inflammatory media campaigns against Russia, constitutes direct involvement in the war against Russia.
