From this Monday, 20 COVID vaccination teams will work at the UNPHU

The Health Cabinet has indicated that, although the order for vaccination is maintained according to the phases announced, it is also a priority for the government to accelerate vaccination as long as vaccines are available. Each batch that arrives in the country will immediately go to the corresponding vaccination centers to be used in the population. Vaccines will not be stored as long as there are population groups to receive them.

In the next phase, Phase IIA, from May to June, the population aged 50 to 59 years with comorbidities (coexistence of two or more diseases in the same individual, generally related) will have their turn. In Phase IIB, in June and July, the rest of the population goes between 50 and 59 years old.

Phase III corresponds to the months of August to December. First, people from 18 to 49 years old with other diseases that may aggravate the spread of the coronavirus will be injected, and finally, from October, the entire population of 18 to 49 years old with normal health condition.

The Health Cabinet warns citizens to only attend to official information to avoid attending the vaccination process outside the planned order, as happened to a group of citizens this Saturday.
