Futuristic Assassin’s Creed? The next game in the franchise could take place between 2090 and 2099

Henderson states that the game might take place between 2090 and 2099, with protagonists commenting on events from our era as if they were written in history books. These protagonists would be new Abstergo employees, while the Animus would show events in Feudal Japan.

Ubisoft’s idea would be to better organize the chronology of Assassin’s Creed, covering the events of each game in the series at the time it was released, starting with Assassin’s Creed Valhalla in 2020, then Origins in 2017 and so on until reaching the first Assassin’s Creed of 2007.

This may indicate that Ubisoft can use the new Infinity platform to access other games such as Codename Red, Codename Hexe and even retell some of the most important chapters of the franchise.
