Two well-known 13-year-olds are said to have stolen a flatbed truck together with a 17-year-old in Klaffer am Hochficht (Rohrbach district). They drove hundreds of kilometers across Upper Austria, following which they are said to have even tried to set the vehicle on fire, according to a report by the “Krone” (Friday edition), which the police largely confirmed.
The 13-year-old girl and the boy of the same age were involved in two taxi robberies in the past few weeks. The two who are still under criminal responsibility apparently belong to a gang of young people who are said to have committed numerous other crimes – from burglaries and theft to drug offenses and violations of the prohibition law.
According to “Krone”, the 17-year-old, who was involved in the car theft in Klaffer, was involved in an arson attack on a police car last year. This was denied by the police on Friday.
