A gas cylinder exploded in a two-story 12-apartment building in Zhanaozen, Kazakhstan. According to preliminary data from the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic, 11 people were injured.
The entrance collapsed on an area of 150 sq. m. with a total building area of 600 sq. m. m. It happened early in the morning, at 5:00 am Astana time (2:00 am Moscow time). The explosion was not accompanied by a fire.
The injured have been handed over to paramedics. More than 50 rescuers and a canine crew, 10 pieces of equipment, an ambulance and local authorities are working on the spot.
