Beijing – Anna Gasser celebrated a successful start to the season with a World Cup victory at the Big Air final in Beijing. At the scene of her second Olympic gold in Shougang Park, the 32-year-old Carinthian won on Saturday with 174.00 points ahead of the Australian Tess Coady (171.00) and Miyabi Onitsuka (170.50) from Japan. Gasser jumped onto the podium for the 17th time in her 17th World Cup start in Big Air; it was the double Olympic champion’s ninth triumph in the World Cup.
