A homeless person was found lifeless Thursday on the site of an improvised camp, very close to a temporary accommodation center in Gatineau.
The body was discovered in a tent, next to the Robert-Guertin arena, late in the followingnoon.
This person was known to those around him and was very involved in his community, witnesses report.
The investigation continues to shed light on the causes and circumstances of death.
“There are social workers inside who will be able to provide support to people who knew this person,” declared the general director of Gîte Ami, Lise Paradis.
