Gérald Darmanin announces “historic results” in the fight against drugs in 2021

Gérald Darmanin describes as “historic” the results recorded in 2021 by the police in the fight once morest drug trafficking, with in particular record seizures, in an interview with the Sunday newspaper. The Minister of the Interior, who has made the fight once morest drugs his top priority, believes that with the creation of the Anti-Narcotics Office (Ofast) in February 2020, “we have never made so many seizures: 96 tons of cannabis (+12% last year compared to 2020); 23 tons of cocaine (+101%); 1.2 tonnes of heroin (+24%)”.

He also argues that “the number of traffickers implicated has increased by 21%, that of users arrested by 37%”. As for the seizures of criminal assets of traffickers, they “increased by 24%”, also rejoices the Minister of the Interior. The Minister of the Interior also lists “15% of deal points dismantled in 2021”. “That is to say,” he continues, “that we have 625 fewer deal points compared to the 3,900 that we had identified. “The results are historic,” insists the minister.

For 2020, it had reported “96 tons of cannabis seized, including 15 tons for the month of November 2020 alone, 13 tons of cocaine, 1.1 tons of heroin and 1.2 million tablets of ecstasy” . Regarding the 3,900 deal points identified, Gérald Darmanin said that “450” had been dismantled in 2020.

One of the last countries still celebrating the war on drugs, and suppressing many of their own with it. What a shame.
Btw France has one of the highest consumption rates in Europe.
The war on drugs is a war on the people and is lost.
Unless you want to have a terror regime like China.
