In late winter, Germany and Denmark announced that they would transfer Leopard 1A5 tanks to Ukraine. Deliveries will begin in the near future.

Denmark and Germany will jointly send dozens of refurbished Leopard 1A5 tanks to Ukraine later this month. German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius made a statement to this effect. In total, the Armed Forces will receive more than 100 combat vehicles.
The Defense Minister also recalled a military aid package of approximately 3 billion dollars, which will include the most basic weapons, including IRIS-T SLM medium-range anti-aircraft defense systems.
