Get ready to waltz and swing at the Opernredoute: Insider tips from choreographer duo Patricia Stieder-Zebedin and Wolfgang Nicoletti

Lifting figures, waltz steps, swing kicks – the choreographer duo Patricia Stieder-Zebedin and Wolfgang Nicoletti came up with a lot of ideas for the opening polonaise of the Opernredoute. And no time to waste. Four dances have to get into the heads – and legs – of the 52 dance couples who will be on the dance floor on January 27th in just three rehearsal weekends. Stieder-Zebedin and Nicoletti combine rumba, tango, swing and waltz. So that the last couple in the back row can also hear the choreographer’s instructions in the state sports center at the city park, she has bought a microphone. “I have rarely seen such an enthusiastic group as this year,” says Nicoletti, enthusiastic regarding the couples’ enthusiasm.
