Chennai: Ticket sales for the Hero Asian Hockey Championship starting on August 3 in Chennai have started. Asia’s top teams are taking part in the competition at the Mayor Radhakrishnan Hockey Stadium in Egmoor.
Hockey India Secretary General Bholanath Singh presented the first ticket to Youth Welfare and Sports Development Minister Udayanidhi Stalin and started the sale. After 16 years, the international hockey tournament is coming to Chennai.
Udayanidhi Stalin said that Mayor Radhakrishnan Stadium has been upgraded to international standards for this purpose.
