Gewessler praises OMV’s purchase of pipeline capacities and advocates a room temperature of 19 degrees – energy market

Vienna – If Energy Minister Leonore Gewessler (Greens) has her way, the gas that comes from Norway to Austria via OMV’s newly acquired pipeline capacities should also be used or stored there. In the Ö1 “Morgenjournal” on Friday, Gewessler also assumed that OMV would recover the additional costs for the additional transport capacity from the state. The Gas Diversification Act earmarked EUR 100 million per year for this.
