Ghent resident Tim Brys takes a respectable fourth place in the Olympic final of the skiff

Ghent rower Tim Brys has delivered a brilliant performance at the Olympic Games. In the A-final of the skiff he came in a respectable fourth place.

The Olympic final was postponed for an hour because one of the participants was stuck in traffic due to an accident. This increased the tension in the premises of Club Gent, Brys’ club. But it was more than worth the wait. Brys divided his competition perfectly and was able to finish fourth after a strong final sprint. No medal, but a great reason to be more than proud of this Ghent native. And they certainly are at the KRCG.
