Production on the fourth season of the Netflix comedy-drama series Ginny & Georgia concluded in the first week of March 2026, slightly behind the initially anticipated late February wrap date, according to sources familiar with the production.
Filming began in Toronto, Canada, on September 29, 2025 and took over five months to complete. The series, created by Sarah Lampert, follows Georgia Miller (Brianne Howey) and her children, Ginny (Antonia Gentry) and Austin (Diesel La Torraca), as they navigate life in the fictional town of Wellsbury, Massachusetts.
While Netflix has not yet announced a specific release date for the fourth season, industry observers anticipate a launch sometime between late 2026 and early 2027, mirroring the release patterns of previous seasons. The second season premiered in January 2023, and the third season debuted in June 2025.
The show garnered significant viewership upon its release, with over 52 million Netflix subscribers watching the first season within 28 days of its debut. The second season quickly climbed the Netflix Top 10 TV chart, and the third season became the platform’s number one series, attracting 17.6 million viewers in its initial release period.
Netflix has confirmed the addition of three new recurring cast members for the fourth season: Sunny Mabrey as Daisy, Ali Skovbye as Rainn, and Kataem O’Connor as Isaiah. Returning cast members include Brianne Howey, Antonia Gentry, Diesel La Torraca, Felix Mallard (Marcus Baker), Sara Waisglass (Maxine Baker), Scott Porter (Mayor Paul Randolph), and Raymond Ablack (Joe).
All 30 episodes of Ginny & Georgia are currently available for streaming on Netflix.
The renewal for both seasons three and four was announced simultaneously following the success of season two. Sara Waisglass, who plays Maxine Baker, posted on social media, “That’s a wrap wrap wrap! Love this cast. Love this crew. Max, I will miss you. Ginny and Georgia Season 4 is on its way people,” a message that has prompted speculation among fans regarding the show’s future beyond the fourth season. As of March 15, 2026, Netflix has not commented on the possibility of a fifth season.
