Girl dies after falling out of window of moving car

Two people have been arrested in the United States in connection with the death of a 7-year-old girl following she fell from a car traveling on a freeway, according to the Los Angeles Times.

On July 2, at around 3:40 a.m., Veronda Gladney, 28, was driving a vehicle near Weldon Canyon Road, California, with her daughter, Tanuneka Starnes, and boyfriend, Michael Branch, 39.

It was then that the girl fell out of the window.

His body was found by police following a report of an object on the road.

The couple were arrested for endangering the life of a minor.

On Wednesday, Michael Branch was charged with child abuse.

An investigation is still ongoing to find out the circumstances of Tanuneka’s death.
