According to the Texas Department of Health, so far in the 2022-2023 influenza season, almost 2,650 deaths with this virus have been reported, a situation that worries parents who continue to seek medicine for their children. However, pharmacies such as Walgreen and CVS announced that they eliminated some access limits for the purchase of drugs. In addition, Ilan Shapiro, medical director at AltaMed, reiterates that “generic drugs work just like brand name drugs.”
