Global Diplomatic Protests: South African Recall of Israeli Diplomats in Gaza Massacre

Tel Aviv: South Africa also recalls diplomats from Israel to protest the massacre in Gaza. Minister Khumbudso Tshaveni announced at a press conference that he will discuss the situation with diplomats.

Earlier, Turkey, Jordan, Bolivia, Honduras, Colombia, Chile and Bahrain recalled their diplomats. Bolivia also severed all diplomatic ties with Israel.

South Africa’s minister in charge of the President’s Office, Khumbudzo Tshaveni, announced that all of its diplomats in Tel Aviv have been asked to return to Pretoria.

“We are deeply concerned regarding the continued killing of Palestinian children and innocent civilians. Israel’s current response is to punish the people collectively’ – Minister of Foreign Affairs Naledi Pandor said in a press conference.
