Alarm in Glyfada where a man shot himself, following an episode of domestic violence.
Specifically, thethey started when police officers saw the man beating his wife at the entrance of an apartment building on Ikarias Street in Glyfada.
The man was 29 years old, he had a criminal past and was involved in robbery and drug cases. In fact, according to the check carried out by the police, he was involved in a hit-and-run accident in Glyfada that happened on Thursday.
At the entrance of the apartment building where the couple lived, the man beat his wife and was noticed by an OPKE police patrol passing through the area.
The police intervened and the man entered the apartment building. He went into his apartment and got a Glock pistol with which he shot himself.
When the police entered the apartment, they found the 29-year-old dead.
The man was known to the authorities and had the obligation to present himself at the Glyfada Police Station on the 1st and 15th of every month.
