GMA Warriors won the Gloucestershire Malayali Association Cricket Tournament. The Warriors won following a fierce match at the King George Ground in Gloucester in the morning. The final match was between Gladiators, Spartans and Warriors. Warriors beat Gladiators to clinch the finals. As Spartan also reached the finals, the competition became exciting. Finally, the Warriors won the cup by defeating the Spartans. There were 20 overs in the final.
Gladiators were led by Praju Gopinath, Spartans by Manoj Venugopal and Warriors by Dr Biju Peringathara. Vicky became the best bowler in Warriors. Warriors player Anas Rawtar was also selected as the best batsman. Anthony Mathews was adjudged as the best wicket keeper for his excellent performance throughout the game. Tom Glanson won the Man of the Series.
The Warriors won the match while the Spartans finished as runners-up. The Gladiators had to settle for third place. Delicious food was also prepared under the leadership of Stephen Ilavunkal. The raucous cricket tournament filled the crowd with excitement
