After his notable experience in Sint-Truiden, Polleunis continued his career for three seasons with RWDM, where he contributed to winning the Belgian championship title in 1975. His passion for football then led him to SK Tongeren, where he ended his career in 1977.
In addition to his club exploits, Polleunis also had the honor of donning the Red Devils jersey on 22 occasions, including participating in the 1970 World Cup in Mexico.
