The atmosphere is good within the Belgian delegation present in Australia to compete in the World Cycling Championships: Wout van Aert and his teammates continue to make their mark and digest the jet lag.
This Thursday, the birthday of WVAthe Belgians interrupted their training outing on several occasions: to celebrate the 28th birthday of the big favorite of these World Championships over a coffee (he also received a cookie bearing the image of Blueythe star of an Australian cartoon, for the occasion), and to watch the peloton go by in a local race.
What a shock for the participants in this event to see, at the side of the road, Wout van Aert, Yves Lampaert or Jasper Stuyvenwinners of several races on the WorldTour calendar, encourage them on the road!
