Good news for Sister Angèle!

As you may know, we learned last spring that the famous lady was forced to move next year. Sister Angèle lives in the motherhouse of Sisters of Good Counsel and this house was for sale. When the house would be sold, all the occupants would have to leave.

Surprise! THE 7 days today reveals that it is La Maison Jean Lapointe that has purchased the property of the Institut Notre-Dame du Bon-Conseil de Montréal and that the nuns will be allowed to continue to live there.

So Sister Angèle will no longer have to move! She told the publication: “When we found out that it was Maison Jean-Lapointe who was buying, we found it very good! The Bon-Conseil Sisters are happy! On the same ground, there will be the Fondation Soeur Angèle and the Fondation Jean Lapointe! They told us we might stay two years; we’ll see following. »
