Good news for Wydad: Morocco host African Champions League final on May 30

The final of the African Football Champions League will take place in Morocco on May 30, the Confederation of African Sport (CAF) announced on Monday.

The African football governing body has announced that the final will take place in a single confrontation instead of the two-way formula, noting that it has received applications from Morocco and Senegal to host this final, before the country of Teranga withdraws its own.

Thus, CAF said it was happy to award the organization of this final to Morocco on May 30th.

Discussions are currently underway within CAF to return to the old formula (round trip), underlines the Confederation.

Wydad of Casablanca and Al ahly of Egypt are closer than ever to the final following wide victories in the first legs once morest Petro Luanda (3-1) and ES Sétif (4-0) respectively.
