Also this year the gossip café of the Kottingbrunn cultural scene is organizing the gossip summer in July and August. Every Friday and Saturday from 6 p.m., a wide variety of music groups play in the guest garden if possible.
Last Friday The Saxonuts were guests. The four saxophonists – Thomas Gaspar (soprano & alto), Alfred Kern (alto), Stefan Öllerer (tenor) and Gerald Mittermüller (baritone) – come from the “Coconuts”, which is known far beyond the district borders.
The quartet’s repertoire includes classics from various musical genres (jazz, pop, film music) as well as original compositions for this line-up. The broad sound of the four saxophones and the extraordinary enthusiasm of the four musicians made the evening a special experience.
