Government announces ‘dry law’ ahead of the elections on 28Jul: find out from when

The national government announced the start of a “dry law and suspension of the carrying of weapons” in view of the presidential elections on July 28.

In a joint statement, the Ministries of the Interior and Justice and the Ministry of Defense announced when the “dry law” and the suspension of the carrying of weapons will begin. According to the statement, it will begin at midnight on Friday, July 26.

The information was released by the Secretary of Citizen Security and Sector Coordinator for the Security and Defense Area, Miguel Morales Miranda.
