Government of Puebla announces tenders for nuclear medicine and healthcare services for ISSSTEP beneficiaries

The Administration Secretariat of the Government of Puebla published the tenders for nuclear medicine services and another three for the beneficiaries of the Institute of Security and Social Services for Workers at the Service of the Powers of the State of Puebla (ISSSTEP).

The document details that the decision of the procedure will be announced on June 12, and that the contract will be in force from its formalization and until the November 30, 2024.

Through nuclear medicine services, users will be able to access scintigraphy studies and treatments for hyperthyroidism and bone pain, among others.

The provider must have an establishment to provide the service, which must be equipped with: waiting room, area for administration of radioactive material, office, restrooms, at least two range cameras, radiopharmacy, storage area, among other spaces.

You will also need to have the following staff: two nuclear medicine specialists, a pharmacobiologist chemist, a scintigraphic technician, a cardiologist, a physical engineer, and an assistant.

Other calls

The following services will also be contracted for ISSSTEP patient care, through three contests: head of anesthesiology, neurology and transrectal prostate ultrasound with biopsy.

In the case of nuclear medicine and ultrasound, care will be given at the facilities of the firms that win the tenders, which must be located in the capital Puebla or in urban areas.
