An application for a certificate for housing for orphans can be submitted in person to the multifunctional center (MFC) or through the government services portal. The Russian government spoke regarding this.
“The application for a certificate can be submitted in person by contacting the MFC, or remotely, in your personal account on the government services portal,” – it says in a government announcement. They added that the certificates are intended for the purchase of housing or repayment of a mortgage loan.
The resolution prepared by the Cabinet of Ministers helps implement the new provisions of the federal law “On additional guarantees for social support for orphans and children without parental care,” adopted in August 2023. These standards expand the possibilities of providing housing for orphans. Previously, they only had access to specialized residential premises according to the rental agreement.
