Dragoș-Ionuț Bănescu was moved from the public position of secretary general in the Prime Minister’s Chancellery to that of secretary general of the National Fiscal Administration Agency (ANAF), according to an order published in the Official Monitor.

According to his CV, he has a master’s degree from the National Intelligence Academy, the educational unit of the SRI. He also completed a post-graduate training course “Security and good governance” at the National Defense College.
In 2007 he obtained the qualification of tax consultant, and in 2006 of accountant.
In the past, he was a commissioner at the Brașov Financial Guard.
PressHub.ro wrote regarding him last year that for 13 years he held positions in 20 Boards of Directors, including Romatsa, CEC, Romgaz or Loteria Română.
