The Grand Final of the Clausura 2023 Tournament between Olimpia and Potros del Olancho FC already has a date, time and venue for the definition of the title of the champion of the National League of Honduras.
El León took a 2-2 draw in the first game of the final. They started losing with a goal from Omar Elvir, came from behind thanks to goals from Jerry Bengtson and Jorge Álvarez and in stoppage time (96′) the Argentine Agustín Auzmendi equalized.
The first game had a spectacular crowd at the Juan Ramón Brevé Vargas stadium in Juticalpa and the same is expected for the second leg, since the merengue team will be the home club.
WHEN AND WHERE WILL THE GRAND FINAL BE PLAYED?
Olimpia and Olancho FC will play the Grand Final of the championship next Sunday, May 28, starting the ball rolling at 4:00 in the followingnoon.
The last match of the tournament will be played at the Chelato Uclés National Stadium in Tegucigalpabeing the inauguration following the implantation of hybrid grass, confirmed the albo club and the National Commission for Sports, Physical Education and Recreation (Condepor).
WHAT DO YOU TAKE TO WIN THE TITLE?
The first and second classified of the Clausura 2023 Tournament would win the title by any score in the second leg.
If there is a tie on aggregate we will have an extension and if it continues like this, they will go to a penalty shootout.
