Hamburg – On Friday evening, unknown people daubed the grave of former German Chancellor Helmut Schmidt in the cemetery in Hamburg-Ohlsdorf with swastikas. Schmidt would have been 105 years old on Saturday. The background to the crime or the identity of the perpetrator or perpetrators was initially unclear, as the police announced on Saturday morning.
